Okay, so it's been a while. I must agree that we desperately need more activity. I feel guilty enough that I haven’t been completely around, but I’m getting there again. If any of you role-play at a different site, please advertise there if you haven’t. Advertise anywhere. We need more activity again now that it seems there aren’t many of us anymore. I think the only other way to bring activity and excitement is if people made steals and plots for us to be involved in =] Well, that’s all I can think of at the moment. I just thought this needed to be updated again.

Temperature;; Summer has finally hit the lands hard and fast. Mosquitoes and flies are the new enemies to most of the equines as they violently fight them every day. The temperatures still aren’t consistent varying from the seventies, eighties and nineties. Lush green vegetation is abundant while the spring rain showers have helped quite a bit although they are now being replaced with sadistic thunderstorms they shake the land. A warning to all equines – red skies at night, a sailors delight, red skies in the morn, sailors be warned.
As the name clearly states the rules can be found here. You must read them before doing anything else. Read ALL the rules because hidden somewhere in them is the password to the joining board. Follow the rules, they aren't hard to abide by.

If you would like a picture made for your character or an avatar make a thread here. Be sure to include everything necessary and somebody will make you a pic. Anybody can make anybody a pic and you can request a certain person make the pic.
I've compiled several lists of words that you can look through to better your posts. If you have any words you wish to add to any of the lists feel free to post them. Remember you'll only get better if you practice and use more advanced wording, so be sure to check out all the lists.
Awards Hub (2 sub-boards) This is where the best of RLTW are honoured by receiving awards. Categories will be decided and nominations will then be accepted. After the nominations have taken place the members of RLTW will get to vote for their favourite character/member.
Lonely? Feeling unwelcome? Come and ease those troubles when you separate yourself upon this road. The road is surrounded by trees, and then comes a forked pathway. To the left lies to Claiming Grounds, a large open field which the forest continues to surround; and to the right is the Foaling Field. There is a place to meet your true love and the perfect place to show your care for them – so enjoy the journey.
As you tread along the path of Interaction, you will notice nothing mundane along the way. For the lands ahead inherit a beach and a meadow. The path is both sandy and full of emerald blades which many stop to feast upon. Orphan’s Ocean and The Watering Hole is what you seek treading upon this lane.
Darkness looms over the beaten lane in which it leads to; hence its name. Broken twigs and small spots of crimson lie in the dirt. The three lands here are known for troubles. One land, the Forsaken Mountains, is known for being the place in which a spar is started. The Forbidden Forest is where many, of all alignments, go out of sheer curiosity, yet some never come back. And the third land is Daventurn Lake; a place that come with great reward if you don’t die first. Dare you enter? Keep walking.
If you walk the way to this land, I am sure there is no turning back. The indentions marked on the earth are enough to tell you that here fights are irrupted. The Tiff Cliffs are not that far off - as you near, if you squint your eyes you can see them... You can still hear the battle cries and the screams of pain. A few crushed bones lay strewn about the path and some marks of crimson as well... Dare you enter? Or do you even have a choice?
This land is a large open field, only divided into three sections. If one stands in the center though, you can see all three of the lands with ease. It is located just north of the Dark and Light Kingdom. What the purpose? It’s to allow the Kings and Queens to meet and discuss conflicts when needed.
If you are feeling witty with words and cunning in brains, follow this way... The Stealing lands are within the grasp of The Graveyard. To the right you shall go to put your riddle to the test and to the left you’ll let the mournful go. It is best to be on guard either way.
This is where the notorious Mafia runs her business. This place is not to far from the East Side streets, having run down streets and empty home to decorate this place. Then as the house turn to dust, and little stalks of grass can be found, is where the gutted Empire sits. Holding within her stone walls the most envious treasures to behold to all kind of RLTW.
The word 'orchard' gives a false impression of this place. Although there are trees laden with fruit and for shelter, and lush grass for food, it is far from the innocent little clearing that the name makes you think it is. Darkness roams this place like a scavenging stray, covering everything in its path. For a few hours of the day, the sun pierces the canopy and lights up the forest floor, as the flowers reach up to this sudden warmth and light, and savour it. However, when the sun sinks too low to be effective, the true nature of the lands and their inhabitants come out. The land becomes heavy with shadows, eerie noises are heard echoing through the birch trees, icy wind creating hair-prickling thuds as apples are torn from their branches. This is the land of the darkened heartbeats. Welcome to the one and only, hell. RIP to Premonition and Aria, Pavarotti and Hollister; Let the next generation rule.
The King of Darks: Dizavi The Queen of Darks: None The Heir of Darks: None
As you walk along you will find what seems to be a wall of stone planted in the ground. If you choose to follow the odd path it will take you through rock walls with designs embedded in them. The walls are cracked, and one can see through most parts. There is no roof to it so light always shines through. If you decide to enter you will be led through a series of more cracked walls and large empty rock rooms. Sod and fresh sweet ocean grass grows from everywhere giving plenty of vegetation, and the walls providing excellent warmth and shelter during the winter.
Hell's Domain is a scary and desolate place far off from the rest of the lands. The herd leader is the only one who can step foot upon the lands beside the mares and their offspring. The leader of this herd believes that all of the Dark Arts must be smart and cunning and fight often. Hills make most of the place and forest covers everything besides the one mountain in the middle of the lands. On the mountain is a small cavern with a ledge in which the lead rests and watches the harem with his queen.
King Of The Land: Unwritten Queen Of The Land: Wicken
Tread very carefully here, for not only are these lands as dark as the lord's heart whom roams here but something deep inside hungers for your blood; the land. It is rumored that those whom died in battle roam this harem, blood thirsty and full of hatred. Everything is covered in dust, the greek ruins have been left there to be forgotten. The pale grey hued stone beneath your feet is covered in crimson and littered with bones. The vast region is hidden within mountains, only very few may survive here with such scarceness of foliage. Trees are uprooted and strayed all over. There are no leaves upon the ones still in the ground, they are bare just like the soul of the one who rules here. Enter at your own risk.
RLTW has a certain drop off called The Pit. It descends almost as far down as the pits of hell themselves. Created by a huge comet that crashed in previous years, it's perfectly sculpted into the ideal devil's labyrinth. Built by the devil himself and powered by the dead. The one who rules below gave this turf to one stag, and one only. Devil's Assassin, his killing machine made real with blood and flesh. Devil's Assassin stands from the cliffs, watching as new prey intrudes among his herd. They won't know till death is upon them that he lingers near. He see's all from where he stands. Beside blood,the land is darted with caverns that lead farther into the earth, mazes of the forest and weeds. Get captured in this puzzle and only the king and his harem will be able to get you out. The question is...Will they want to?...
Lead Demon: Devil's Assassin Lead Femme: Oxycotton Heiress: Atropos Her Mate: None
A thin line keeps you from the darkness these lands hold. Only the bravest of equines will venture here… and only the smartest will survive. The lands are always cast with a shadow of darkness, death and murder hangs in the air as some of the many predators live here, both equine and beast. The lead here is unlike any other, an enemy to the great Xeus, though he laid the only lands he had at his feet… for what? So one so great would not be demoted. The lands are never light, snow takes over in the winter, while rains take over in spring. The whole land is a jetty, it reaches like an arm out into the roaring seas. One dumb move and your carcass will be a splattered mess for the gulls and scavengers to feast upon down on the jagged rocks. Always with the storms here, it is also abundant with any food source you crave, be it greens or flesh and blood. These lands are owned in full by Mafia, how ever Demise runs them as a service to his ‘Boss.’
A small cavern on the side of a mountain range is the only clue that there is a herd beyond. The walls are slippery to touch and nasty to smell. Your optics are not yet adjusted to the dark so you walk on blinded. Finally at the end you see a faint liht, the new warmth of the shine is welcoming on your pelt so you walk faster. You come out to an amazing field, blinking in confusion you think that you have landed in heaven but think again for on the branches, in the trees, you see crows. The swamp underneath it is murky and resembles the color of the sea. You move closer only to find out it is a simple pond. The reeds around it close around your limbs you don't shriek in panic but look around wildly. A foul smell rises from the hot springs. You might just want to soak, but will you arise to greet another day?
These neutral lands are run by the gypsy vanner brute named Hustler. Sheltered on the borders of Run like the Wind, near the Watering Hole is just where hidden Peak rests. The Peak, in which the name came from, is in fact a small elevation of land hidden deep within the trees, where meetings usually take place. There is a lake, narrowing into a winding river leading to Tornado Fields where Flame and his sub-herd reside. Magnus is lead of Rocky Lake, and those who trespass will find themselves in the bad books of the three brutes.
King Of The Land: Hustler Queen Of The Land: Sapphire's Romance
Pursue these marbled paths upon your own will. Predators, such as myself, wander throughout the area just searching for a kill. These paths move through the darken forest, leading to different places throughout the harem. The forest consists of broad willows that shadow the grounds. One path leads to an exposed, lush meadow where you may graze for as long as you desire. An additional path leads to a sinister cave that is located off to the side. This holds the sanctuary in the district if you cannot handle the conditions that are permitted. Different paths lead to other places that may seem unknown; however, if you don’t watch your step, you may stroll off into a hazard region that will only guide to your bereavement. Crystal aquilla streams surround the land with only one solitary, wooden bridge to use to exit and enter. Malachite only accepts the strong willed, so if you welcome yourself here upon your own will, you may be in for a rude awakening.
Not exactly an island, this vast expanse of land rising above the water's surface is capable of supporting life.It is attached to the mainland by a strip of earth,only visible during low tides.Caution is advised during high tide,as many have been swept away by the unforgiving current. The terra is named for the remarkable white sand that lines the water's edge,blending into lush grass,hinted with the taste of salt.Rocks rise up from the ground in the dead center of the island,sheltering the homeland from the unpredictable beach weather.
Island King;; Specter Forever and Always;; None Next in Line;; None
The eerie sound of whispers penetrate your ear as you wander into the unknown abyss, the icy cold chill of fear has already got your mind playing games on you. You start to hear, see and think unimaginable things. As you wander in further, the walls seem to be closing in around you, the entrance has suddenly been blocked off. It is pitch black. You get engulfed by your own mind and ponder on your wellbeing. Will you get out alive? Not many equines will be good enough nor strong enough to reside in such a place as this. The winding and mind-binding tunnels make it easy to get lost and distraught. The Lead Hellion, Uccidere awaits your arrival among one of the many chambers inside of The Labyrinth. You may think you were already unlucky to have stumbled upon such an unforgiving land such as this, but wait until you meet the master of it all. Now, he is something to worry about. If you're not careful you may as well end up on his plate and be torn apart by the whole harem. Not a nice way to go. Dare you enter? It may be the last light you'll see.
Here stands, or rather crumbles, the great land of Decimation. Falling to pieces before the very daggers of the darkest of hearts. How old are the tombs and headstones? No one knows, no one cares. The gnarled trees and decay bodies under the ground are enough to send a chill into the heart of any equine. During the day it seems like a once burned through forest for the black and dying trees could be called 'charred' but they are not, just poisoned from the death shrouding the lands. And the scattered and uneasy headstones are not to be mistaken for oddly shaped rocks for the graves underneath were also met to catch others, being traps in waiting. Grass is found in scarce parts because bare dirt and cold stone are far, far more common. But the most common thing is death, or rather being eaten alive by the savage beasts who live here.
From the fires of hell, to the earth above. To the wind that sings across this land, to the waters rushing through. All is tainted with sin, the Devil rules here with his sly manner. A top the hill in the middle of these flat lands hold the only tree, a long witch willow. Streams and brooks runs through and tall wild grasses grow all over. Towards the far end of the lands it stand like a desert, with burnt remains of plants and even animals. Could this be the hell of earth?
Oozora A perfect fit for it's name, which is Japanese for Heaven. A beautiful and tranquil area of land nestled in between mountains. There are very large bonsai trees here and there, and cherry blossom trees are everywhere. The grass is lush and green, and flowers are spotted here and there. A stream runs through the land, from a waterfall at the far side, crystal clear and calm. A perfect place for swimming. A pool of water lies at the foot of the waterfall, where koi swim in peace.
Make your way through the ruined streets of the East Side, but mind your step- There is more than starved beasts that roam this area. This is the home land, the root of some of the most notorious gangs in RLTW. You need the Street Smarts to survive in this neck of the woods, coz make one wrong move you a goner. You need to be showin respect, to those you gotta respect.. An' the only one 'round here that needs that respect- is Bounty. He's the king hit round here. He's the pimp daddy, a Thug, a Hustler, a Playa- you name it.. you just better be watchin yo'self when you be crossing his path- coz if you aint gangsta.. Well lets just say 'Dont hate the playa, Hate the game.'
No. The black pit is not actually a black pit. The ancestors of this place had made it originally a black pit though. They used to dump the unworthy beings in there. It was their definition of hell. The pit was too large for anyone to climb out of. So they rotted to death in there... and were eventually eaten by the insects that swarmed in there thousands there. Now the pit and the bones have been covered. It is a large swampy area, infested with all kinds of dangerous animals. There are said to be crocodiles in the water. But they are at peace with the horses of the dark waters - For most of the time.
The name says it all. These lands are enveloped in trees. Willows, oaks, sycamores, maples, and many more stretch across this vast landscape. The thick canopy lets only thin stretches of light seep through, which struggle to reach the forest floor. A constant fog swims by your irons as you amble through, your harks perked for any suspicious noise. Though this may sound grim, these are light lands ruled by Chivalry. He makes sure no darks enter the confines of his forest, and he will watch over this terra until he can gain his rightful lands back.
A small part of the ruins, farther back and secluded all by itself. Its densely forested, with a spiderweb of rivers running across the span of terriotory. The leafy foliage is bountiful in the warmer months, but with winter's arrival, pond moss is the only food avaliable. At the heart of the forest, surrounded by a tight cricle of cliffs, is a pentagon of waterfalls, five of them, all around the cliffs. The mist could cool any equine, and there are spots in the sun where one can bathe. The pool the waterfalls create is deep, at least 14 feet or so. The circle is protected in the winter from the harsh winds, and the moss can be used as bedding. There is a small alcove for the foals of the herd, while a closed cave serves for the chambers of slaves, though the coming of one is rare. Led by Izumi
Located on the outskirts of Oozora this terra is fortunate enough to have some of the same striking shrubbery and flora. Cherry and bonsai trees litter the land, along with the maple forest that gives this land its name. A small stream makes its way lazily through the green meadows; with water so clean you can see the small pebbles on the bottom. The Light of heart reside here and all are welcome if their intentions are pure.
Death Cove These Lands Belong To Thief;; Trespass and DIE
Death Cove is hell. many have died here and ghosts haunt the lands. Trecherous winds leave no mercy to those in its path. They'll create tornadoes and kill all, sometimes picking up the water and flames, making fire tornadoes and water twisters. That's not all. A low fog clings to the terra all day and thickens at night, never disapperaring you may get lost forever. Bones litter DC for mile upon mile. Where you step, -crack-another bone. The strem is poisonous and the vegetation deadly. Don't be fooled by its innocent looks, it'll snap you up for lunch. Blood is the dirt, it cakes the land and all the foilage. There are even bubbling geysers of blood. Some normal bubbling pits of water, keeps you young forever. Eyes follow every step you take, every move you make. If not careful they'll get you. The worst weather ever imaginable comes here. Scorching heat that'll kill you, freezing snow storms, even in summer. Lighting storms are daily here, but the only way to escape it all is to go to the mountain and caves. A large looming montain blocks the entrance, jagged rocks and predators loom around the area. it is impenatrable so try to get in. Death Cove the home of Thief. perfect for him huh? If you amazingly gain entrance there is a dark thicket of trees standing there. blood cakes the ground and rocks, from the many deaths and murders held here. around the corner, there is a cliff edge where the king over looks, all lands. but below there is a hole which the herd members go through. they follow the path down deeper into DC's belly. once they get through the narrow corridor there is a large room filled with seperate chambers for the herd. the kings throne is one the cliff edge. there is a tunnel that leads from his domain to the herd. but you could only go down for there is a large drop off point. the floors are tricky here and will break apart just for you to fall to your demise then seal back up in a second. Sound pleasant? Didn't think so. There is one good thing. The king of the lands, Thief. Only his herd is allowed to them The Main Section Of Death Cove is the Death Arena. This is the only place where you could get light from inside these very dark lands. It is a great place to laze around and walk. Though if your not careful you may die as others have being sacrificed or murdered. Keep The Foals Away! Tresspass and Thief will hunt you down and kill you, if his lands don't get to you first.
